Curro García, 8, and Juan Alberto Gómez, 11, seem like ordinary children enjoying school at Colegio Salliver in Fuengirola. However, behind the cheeky smiles, they are true world-beaters at mental arithmetic. Some 200,000 children globally compete in an annual competition organised by SupertMatik. JuanAlberto is world champion in his category and Curro is runner up. Each category had 20,000 taking part this year.
